John Piper calls it Christian Hedonism: the conviction that God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him, and that the deepest human longing for joy is meant to be met in Him, not suppressed. Every resource on the site exists to make that one truth land — through daily devotionals, podcast Q&A, verse-by-verse Bible study and decades of sermons.
It is not a one-man show anymore. A team of teachers, all committed to the same Affirmation of Faith, writes and records under Piper’s original vision, and the ministry runs almost entirely on donations rather than selling anything.
Piper coined “Christian Hedonism” specifically to argue that pursuing joy in God is not a compromise of holiness but the point of it.
