Wycliffe Bible Translators

There are people alive today who have never read a single verse in the language they think in. Wycliffe exists to change that, funding and staffing Bible translation worldwide through an alliance of more than a hundred organisations.

As of 2025 the full Bible exists in 776 languages, and the number with no translation work started at all has fallen to around 544. You can be part of that as a donor, as someone who prays, or as a career missionary — and not only as a linguist, since they need IT people, pilots and teachers too.

In Poland the work is carried by Biblijne Stowarzyszenie Misyjne, based in Ustroń.
