Ruch Chrześcijański Mt28 (Cru in Poland)

Ruch Chrześcijański Mt28 is part of Cru, the international mission founded as Campus Crusade for Christ by Bill and Vonette Bright in Los Angeles in 1951. Its history page says the first Americans came to Poland in 1976 and that, under communism, the work went on underground, with early cooperation with the Catholic Oasis movement of Fr Franciszek Blachnicki. After the fall of communism it was formally registered in 1991 as Ruch Nowego Życia (New Life Movement); since 2013 it has worked under the name Mt28, after the Great Commission in Matthew 28.

Its ministries include Studenci z Misją on campuses in Warsaw, Kraków and Poznań, Family Life, a men’s ministry called 4 Muszkieterowie, a women’s ministry, Athletes in Action, a nine-month recovery programme called re:generacja, family retreats at Przystań, and online outreach. It offers free online courses at agape.pl and evangelism tools such as The Four.
